Menus & Digital Branding
Retro menu design and coordinated branding materials for a vintage bowling alley. This establishment in Fort Morgan, Colorado offers a full bar and grill, bowling, beers, burger and FUN for the whole family.
THE DESIGN
The bowling alley found Cottonwood Whispers thru Etsy and hired us to do a menu design first. The challenge was to make the menu “retro” styled without being too kitschy or use the color red. The bowling alley architecture is vintage and they really wanted to play off of that and use it to their branding advantage. Below is what we came up with.
A few weeks later, we created the drink menu, then a few posters to hang around promoting gift certificates, and special themed nights. Once those were done, we moved on to doing one of my favorite projects of all time – the ad art for the TV monitors.
The overall look is cohesive, stylish, and definitely has a fun retro vibe.
